The main appeal of GRAVITY is its enormous versatility. The glideboard creates an unstable environment, which recruits all of the stabilizing muscles and creates a stretching, flexibility and strengthening workout which has the bonus of neutralising orthopedic stress on the body and providing unparalleled freedom of movement.
You can also easily manipulate the amount of that resistance to give a personalised workout to suit the needs of YOU as a runner or gym-goer. Making small changes affects the load incrementally, thus increasing or decreasing the challenge to the body. GRAVITY gives authentic training in all three planes of motion (sagittal, frontal and transverse).
GRAVITY FOR LEGS
Gravity encourages dynamic movements that enhance stability, balance and strength. Plyometrics are an essential part of any runner's strength-training program and this is where GRAVITY excels. For endurance runners, a controlled squat is the classic quads, glutes and hip extension exercise. Add the two together, and you have a powerful combination.
